World Longest Seawall

The bird eye view taken on April 20 shows the 33.9 km Saemangeum seawall in Gunsan, about 200 kilometer from south of Seoul .On April 27,South Korea had formally marked completion of the world longest seawall, the first step of massive project aimed at reclaiming the ocean for industries ,tourism and agriculture by 2020. Although it will become the economic highway for South Korea to compete in International stage, I am doubt and full of queries weather construction of such huge engineering project will bring adverse effect and harm the seabed. This is due to destruction of sea ecosystem will affect living organisms like aquatic plants and animals, destroy the habitat of animals or unknown crisis that have not been ascertain.
