Please Stop Decaying Our Education System

"Abolishing of UPSR and PMR will be considered in future!" Again our third minded government had carried out with its unprecedented and brilliant feat by revoking this historical public exam which had produced a lot of talents and genius people in our country that migrated to foreign country for a better and flexible environment for past of the years. Our education system was manipulated like a moron puppet by unscrupulous government as long as 50 years by their own interest and agenda where a lot of  wrong and "frog" policies had implemented or made a snap and emergency U-turn.

In fact, we should reviewed on our history started from changes made in Act Of Education 1961.Lets take an example like PMR, it was originally naming L.C.E in year 1978 and later replaced with S.R.P .Again in year 1993 it had renamed to S.R.P where it had now almost 30 years old. Hence, it was very mockery and sarcasm as current led BN government was the one who gave birth to them and also ending their life. I was in a quandary that was it really futile in improving our education system by just abolished the two exam? Can it managed to reduce the burden and pressure suffered by students in their school term?

What else can we used to measures the standard and levels of students at the end of their primary school term in both rural and urban area? According to their own school's criteria and final exam? Would there be a clash in cert and standard evaluation between West and East Malaysia? Student would certainly in dilemma when they came to the cross road on choosing subject! Besides, was there any more appropriate school mechanism can be used in the determination of subject which would indirectly lead to the future of their carrier with the abolishment of PMR? Frequency of school exams must reduced for students and teachers be more concentrated in school extra-curricular activities and relieved their tension instead of revoking the two public exams.

Another failure and controversial policy was the 6 years long English taught in Mathematics and Science where a lot of our tax-payer fund had been used in the converting of teaching medium, material ,teacher courses and programme. We had been turned into laboratory white mouse until they said "This policy had fail". A lot of grouses and protest from NGO and academic world was arousing in that period as they were preferring their original native language until another big U-turn made by our unconscious government. Anyhow, I was a bit worried that can students welly adopted and fit themselves in varsity followed by the U-turn made. Furthermore, it was also very sad to say that our government still didn't recognised independent examination diploma that had produced a of skilled and talented Malaysian. It was a big setback and unfair to them.

Moreover, the overturning teaching style and method was also another tough bramble along the path of our education. Can you imagined the condition of a teacher who undergone history courses taught in a high level physic classes with alleged excuse of lacking experiencing teacher. Besides, the slim two thousand ringgit per month for semi-subsidising school in 10th Malaysia plan would certainly not enough as it was like a few drops of water in bucket. Instead equal amount of funds should be allocated to all private and national school to prevent any marginalized and mitigated the highly burden administration cost, school facilities and relevant costs instead of only showing generously for certain state in by-election.

The most interesting and also contrasting was the "frog" policy with the erection of Talent Corp while on the other hand strictly restricting on autonomy power of Universities. It was just another superficial and pretense works to camouflage on severely leaked of  own talented oversea. What for our government was so distressed and wasting costly flight to woo for talented Malaysians of either working or studying abroad back to our nation with unresolvable rampant cronyism and limiting development space. Presumably salary and wages were not their main consideration but was there any favourable working conditions for them here?

Retardation and hampering of democracy in varsities was the most sorrowful in this beautiful land compared to other country. Oh poor students ! We were in long term under repression and quelled of Act Of University And University College and now the time had arrived for us to bury them. In particularly, we should have the right and freedom to take part in social organization and politics for the future of this country instead of keeping pressure on us. Even certain political forces had infiltrated into our campus election .Why was it so hard for student to have their freedom of expressing thought and voiced without threatening to arrest and brought punitive measures on us?

Recently in a press, Dato Sri Nazri disclosed that our government was considered to abolish Public Service Department Scholarship for alleged reducing the loan owed by some black sheep which will resulted country 's deficit to reach 46 billion ringgit in 2020. Besides it would also retained talented people in our country.
Oh gosh! How come such ignorant and naive remark can came out from our third minded minister? They are leading our country back to ancient times. How can we explore the outside world and adopt new knowledge to place Malaysia in International Stage? Don't it similar with the purpose of building Berlin wall to prevent East German escape to the other side?Zero for non Malays while MARA scholarship for native? Is this 1 Malaysia, 2 administration system? What !PERKASA! They were just some racial extremist who gained some political propagation and stubborn stone.

Anyway, if I am not dreaming, there are no parties in this country who are dare and courageous enough calling to revoke quota policy in each sector till today. MCA ,MIC and even opposition parties do not dare to clearly make their stand on this thorn issue as there are still some conservation mindset parties among them.Without this old policy, I strongly believe that a more benign and harmony competitive among each racial will certainly bringing this country a big step forward into a more progressive era.

In my stances, our education system should be more fluctuating and waving instead or having stagnant teaching medium land pattern like water in a dead lake by producing bookworms. In fact, teachers and students should have a good communication and interaction platform but not the rigid and firm barrier. From here, I even bravely suggest that we should have a tremendous breakthrough by bringing election process into secondary school in preliminary state and extend it to primary school. Students should have the chance to vote for candidates who are eligible and fulfill the criteria contesting for higher level posts like president, vice president and treasurer instead of just fawning on teachers or write a few piece of resumes to recommend yourself. Of courses, this plan should be probe into more detail with all parties like having a 40 % of voting right and another 60 % will be determine by teachers or relevant sides. This will prevent some students to vote according to their own interest or just simply giving a hand to friends.

10 years to go for us to achieve 2020 vision. Will it be a dream fruitlessly wait by people or reality? It was in our hand to change and reform.
